Rilakkuma New Year Photo Event

Don't you love the New-Year-themed Rilakkuma???

It is the year of the Dragon, so Rilakkuma and his friends are dressed up as the mythical creature and looking ridiculously CUTE!

Chara Park (pronounced Kyara Paaku) at Kichijouji

What is this commotion going on here?

Every once in a while, Chara Park at Kichijouji will hold photo events for some of the popular characters such as Miffy and Snoopy. And for the New Year, guess who came to play???

King Bear himself!

The crowd was crazy, but who could blame them?
Rilakkuma plus one very cute Kiirotori dressed as a dragon.

Brace yourselves for an overdose of Rilakkuma goodness!

My failed attempt of trying to get a photo with him.

Let's take a breather by looking at some new Rilakkuma goods

Time for Rilakkuma to return to his chambers.

One last wave to the crowd!

Happy 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I had an awesome countdown with my Korean friends at Asakusa Kaminarimon and it was crazily packed! More photos later!

It is the year of the Dragon and it's going to be a fantastic year for my Chinese zodiac (which I won't tell cos that will give my age away). But it is not the new year yet according to the Chinese calendar, not till 23rd January.

I'm heading out soon to visit my host family, so meanwhile...

Limited Rilakkuma plushie holding a cute little dragon! It's all sold out by mid-December!

And a Rilakkuma kagamimochi

Rilakkuma Furikake

Couldn't resist buying this Rilakkuma furikake when I spotted it in at the supermarket!

Furikake ( ふりかけ) is a dry Japanese condiment to be sprinkled on cooked rice to add flavour. Popular flavours include salmon, egg and mixed vegetables.

A must-buy for Rilakkuma fans!

Individually packed with a different design on each packet.
4 flavours - Salmon, egg, mixed veg and tuna.

On a side note...
...my baby sis turned 17 a few days ago.

Happy 17th!

Lawson Rilakkuma Goods

Picked up some Rilakkuma items from Lawson a few days ago.

Rilakkuma folders that are only available at Lawson.

Choco-corn snack and tiramisu-flavoured chocolates.

A free Rilakkuma calendar comes free with every 3 sticks of Xylitol gum.

Look at them stuffing their greedy faces with chocolates!

Not from Lawson, but Rilakkuma-related.
Rilakkuma post-it pad.
